Two USB Power Outlets installed in the cockpit instrument panel, as provisions for EFB charging.
The installation is comprised of:
- 2 dual- USB True Blue power outlets
- Installation location – on each side of the instrument panel
- Output power: Up to 60W (for USB-C), up to 15W (for USB-A) - suitable for in-flight charging of most commercially available tablets
- In-built protection for short circuit, power surges, overload and over temperature
- Qualification of outlets: FAA TSO C71; EASA ETSO C71; RTCA DO-160G
- USB Power Outlets energised by a 28V DC electrical bus with sufficient load capacity

MAP 21 achieved an EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval in 2007, EASA.21J.326, which enables us to approve modifications to the aviation industry as a delegated EASA authority.
