MAP148 – Partial Air Conditioner removal

The modification removes appreciable weight off the aircraft by removing the main components of the Air-conditioning system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, conditioning logic box), thus reverting back to a non- air conditioned ventilation system. Since piping and wiring are left installed, reinstallation of the air-conditioning components is enabled at a later stage, if required.

The modification includes (customer documents):

  • Engineering order incl. references to supporting technical documentation
  • Instruction for Continued Airworthiness
