MAP001 – Axnes Polycon installation
The Polycon Communication System provides a wireless intercommunication functionality for the winch-man / rescue-man during Search and Rescue (SAR) missions. The system interfaces with the aircraft intercom system. The system was developed by Axnes Aviation AS of Norway and has been adopted by many of the SAR operators world-wide.
CPU unit
This modification details the Polycon communication system installation in AS332L2 helicopters. The installation comprises of the Polycon CPU and an external antenna installation.

MAP 21 achieved an EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval in 2007, EASA.21J.326, which enables us to approve modifications to the aviation industry as a delegated EASA authority.
