MAP138 – ELT replacement

The modification is an obsolescence modification due to the discontinuation of the support for the installed RESCU ELT 406SE from Honeywell (ref. Honeywell SIL-25-C-173 REV 0).

The modification includes (customer documents):

  • Engineering orders
  • Instruction for Continued Airworthiness
  • Flight Manual Supplements

NOTE:

With reference to EASA’s Special Condition on ‘Non-rechargeable Lithium Battery Installations’ => MAP21 is able to issue MINOR approvals for the installation of certain ELT types, thus providing timely and cost-effective service. Contact us with details about the desired modification

MAP 21 achieved an EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval in 2007, EASA.21J.326, which enables us to approve modifications to the aviation industry as a delegated EASA authority.
