MAP160 – Axnes Aviation Polycon to PNG upgrade

The Axnes Polycon wireless intercom extension system is upgraded to the newer Axnes PNG system. The PNG system provides additional capability in comparison to old system, for instance digital secure communication, robust range, AIS, GPS tracking etc.

The upgrade is comprised of:

• Replacement of the existing Axnes Polycon Base Station with an Axnes PNG Base Station

• Removal of a Line Amplifier
• Installation of a PNG Control Panel on an existing console in the cabin

• Installation of an external PNG antenna
• Reutilisation of existing wiring and installation of new wiring as required
• Reusing existing Polycon Circuit Breaker

The modification includes (customer documents):

• Mechanical installation drawings
• Mechanical manufacturing drawings (for brackets required)
• Wiring diagrams, including routing
• Engineering orders
• Instruction for Continued Airworthiness
• Flight Manual Supplement
