MAP135 – Defibrillator installation to comply with EASA regulatory requirements

The defibrillator is known in the aviation world and manufactured to comply with aviation standards (e.g. DO-160 for environmental qualification). Reference is made to the product spec DAC-2703-BK rev A.

This unit is one of the few on the market providing not only audio and text instructions, but also pictograms guiding the user. 

The defibrillator is offered with an optional TSO-142a qualified (Li-Mag) battery pack which also is mandated in this modification.

  • Instructions for Continued Airworthiness

EASA Design Organisation approval

Certified design

MAP 21 achieved an EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval in 2007, EASA.21J.326, which enables us to approve modifications to the aviation industry as a delegated EASA authority.
